Pony (Baseball) League is for players age 13 and 14. GJLS will field a team in the Central Ohio Baseball Recreational Association (COBRA) with home games at Academy Park and away games around Columbus. Games are on a 54/80 field. Players who wish to should still get a chance to play multiple positions on defense. All teams participate in a playoff tournament at the end of the season.

Practices will not start before the middle school baseball season has finished, as to not break OHSAA rules on participation. Players will be allowed to compete for their school team and still play at the Pony level with GJLS.

Games begin at the end of May and run through mid-July.

Please note:

  • Rates have been increased to reflect rising material and umpire costs and rates increased for field usage by the city of Gahanna.
  • The city of Gahanna will be auditing addresses and underpaid registrations will need to be paid in full prior to participation.
Resident: Live in the city of Gahanna with a 43230 zip code. Blacklick, Columbus, and New Albany addresses are not Gahanna. School district attended is not a determining factor. 
Non-Resident: Anyone living in a 43004 zip code or addresses in Blacklick, Columbus, New Albany, or other surrounding areas.
